Sometimes in small talk, we ask about someone’s responsibilities or plans they must do. In English, this is usually asked with:

Q: What do you have to do?
👉 Commonly spoken as “What do you gotta do?” or “Whatcha gotta do?”

The answer usually begins with:
A: I have to… / I got to…
